Comptroller
As comptroller for the Florida Department of Citrus, Debra Funkhouser is responsible for all financial operations including the oversight of revenue collections and expenditures, compliance with state and federal regulations and the annual budget process. She has held this position for 16 years.
Funkhouser also oversees information technology, human resources, purchasing, support services and building operations for the Department.
She has 27 years of accounting and operations experience. Prior to joining FDOC, Funkhouser served as comptroller for a privately-owned sales, manufacturing and service company.
She holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Florida Southern College and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984.
