Mike Yetter

Director, International Marketing

As Director of International Marketing for the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC), Mike Yetter is responsible for building consumer demand for Florida citrus products in markets outside the United States.  Yetter develops integrated marketing programs including advertising, trade promotions, public relations, retail and foodservice components.  He oversees the execution of these programs through the FDOC international team and foreign agencies.

Yetter serves as the FDOC liaison with the Foreign Agricultural Service Market Access Program to secure federal funding for international citrus marketing efforts.  He develops strategic marketing plans and creates a Country Progress Report including a detailed analysis and performance evaluation for each country.  He also serves on the board of the United States Agricultural Export Development Council.

Yetter has been with the FDOC for over 10 years.  Prior to joining the Department, he worked in the food and beverage industry for more than 25 years including 16 years in citrus marketing and sales at Lykes Bros, Inc. where he held several key management positions.

Yetter holds a B.S. in business from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Butler University.
